The organizers said:”After many great parties in Rummelsburg, this year, our new Berlin Open Air location will perhaps be familiar to you. This new location is a real gem and is located right on your doorstep, on a small area, at the edge of the Spree. The SAGE BEACH in Kopenickerstrasse has everything you could ever wish for: a long sandy beach on the Spree river, a proper sound system, many tents and covered areas, good food and a team with heart and spirit. In addition to this, the Watergate after-hours is just a short journey away, with only a few yards separating the two locations.
Long-standing Watergate Residents, Pan Pot, manage to always remain on fire throughout the years. With a constant and busy touring schedule that takes them to all the happening parties and festivals around the globe, catching them for an appearance in our peaceful neighborhood for the Watergate Open Air, seems like a small type of miracle. Marco Resmann and Ruede Hagelstein, alongside shooting star Mathias Meyer, will also be joining the celebrations with additional support from Watergate newcomer, Floyd Lavine. The LIVE performance of the day will come courtesy of Abby System, the four-to-the-floor project of the Abby band, who already last year won over the hearts of the Berlin community with their stage performance. Sounds good to us and off we go!”
