Let’s start the night: Space Ibiza presents “El Row”, a party where the music, the choreographies and the fun  make the difference. Simply Unmissable. This week will be celebrated “Bollywood”.

The mail guest will be Seth Troxler with an extended set, plus Sasha, De La Swing and many more! This is the official poster with the complete line up.

At Privilege will be hosted SupermartXè, one of the most beautiful and happy parties of Ibiza.

Ushuaia Ibiza and Ants announce the opening party 2016!

Finally the news has been announced: Ants, the cult party of Sunday in Ibiza,  returns at Ushuaia Ibiza for summer 2016!

The Colony, that next 14th and 21st of May  will celebrate two pre-season warm up, will return  for a new one amazing season, and the opening party is scheduled for Sunday 4th of June.

Soon we will update our followers with the line up, but don’t worry Andrea oliva and friends will make the difference.

Ibiza 2016: the confirmed parties!

Well, in these weeks were announced several important news about Ibiza 2016.

If you want to know the list of completed and confirmed opening parties, just click here.

But now it’s time to talk about next season: week after week the puzzle  of Ibiza 2016 is getting complete. Let’s discover together the map of confirmed parties:

PACHA

At Pacha there are some interesting news and the program is quite completely scheduled.

Flower Power, after several years,  will move from Tuesday to Monday night (click here), and Tuesday night will take place the most important news of upcoming season, the  residency of Maceo Plex with Mosaic (read here) .

Wednesday night Martin Solveig is confirmed (read here), and also King Mida David Guetta will play again on Thursday night (click here).

Friday night is under the sign of “INSANE”, that next summer presents several important guests: as we already wrote Luciano & Vagabunds but – as update-  are scheduled  five dates for Nic Fanciulli (read here) six dates for MK (read here) and will play also Hot Since 82(read here).

Saturday night  Paris by night with Bob Sinclar are back (click here).

The week will end with the successful Solomun + 1, that  also next summer will be  the protagonist of Sunday night at Pacha (read here for the dates and the infos ).

USHUAIA

Ushuaia in these days is revealing the programs 2016, first of all the line up for the opening party (read here).

Actually Hardwell has been confirmed also in summer 2016 (read here), then  Ants  will start a long season with two pre-season parties and an opening party (read here). 

More residencies? FIRST UPDATE, Friday Steve Aoki lands at Ushuaia for some exclusive dates (read here), Avicii will return Sunday night (click here) and Axwell and Ingrosso Wednesday (read here)!

AMNESIA

At Amnesia there are several confirmed artists and parties: monday night with “Papa” Sven & Cocoon and – as update- a top line up of artists (read here) and a great opening party (read here).

 Tuesday with Together (click here for the line ups), Thursday will take place Cream (read here), and (UPDATE) here you have the confirmed season line ups (read here).

Saturday, starting from 11th of June, Matinèe is back,  Sunday night Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike will return with “House of Madness”.

UPDATE: Music on with Marco Carola and friends will be back every Friday night (read here) and  Wednesday night will return Hyte with Loco Dice, Chris Liebing, Pan-Pot and many more (read here).

SPACE IBIZA

Well, for the last season in Playa d’en Bossa (don’t forget these words), Space has in store a pyrotechnic program.

Tuesday Night “King” Carl Cox will lead his last complete season (read here) and the line up is getting, week by week still more epic (read here)!  Wednesday at Space will be under the sign of La Troya, and this is a big news (read here).

Enter. won’t be hosted next season, but Thursday night there isa beautiful surprise..and UPDATE…here you have it… Afterlife, with Tale of Us, Dixon and many more (read here) lands at Space …

Friday night the elegant music of Glitterbox (read here) is back with its complete program and there will be in next days more upcoming news.

El Row will take place Saturday night (read here) and UPDATE here you have the first confirmed guests and the line up for the opening party (read here)!

Sunday at Space will end the week!

DC 10

Dc 10 has announced the opening party, but Circoloco shouldn’t be the only one big event of the season 2016, stay tuned!  And.. BIG UPDATE…here you have the line up for the opening party (read here)!

SANKEYS

The club of David Vincent has been the first one to reveal the complete programs and dates 2016 (read here).

There are several interesting news, as Dance 88/89 (here you can read the line ups) and Unusual suspects, many good confirms as Tribal Sessions, and Steve Lawler with his “Warriors”. UPDATE: also The Red Light has announced the complete line ups (read here).

Summer 2016 at Sankeys will be rich of surprises and-as usual- good music.

BLUE MARLIN

The beach club of Cala Jondal has announced the opening week end (read here)   now is available the line up (here) and trust us, over there are organizing an unforgettable summer 2016.

LIO

Lio (Pacha Group) has announced the opening party next 24th of May, more infos soon.

PRIVILEGE

Privilege until now has announced  the opening party (read here), and (UPDATE) the residency of  Solid Grooves every Thursday night for 12 weeks (read here).

Another big news, an update? Yes, Supermartxè, that moves from Friday night to Saturday night and announces several big guests (read here) and the opening party scheduled Saturday 4th of June!

But don’t be impatient, soon will be revealed more programs.

EDEN

The club of San Antonio has revealed the date of  the opening party (click here), and the residency of Judge Jules, plus the residency of The Soundgarden for 12 weeks, from 12th of June till 18th of September.

DESTINO  (Update)

Destino has announced the opening party next 27th of May (read here) more info soon.

And then?

Well we are very curious to know where will play Guy Gerber with his “Rumors”, even if he has announced the opening party and a long season (read here).

Also Heart Ibiza, a location that last summer scored brilliant results with Acid Sundays  soon should give more news.

Friday, Naples (Italy), Teatro Posillipo presents: Ananè Vega!

Ibiza by night follows to give news about Ibiza’s heroes around the world.

This time we talk about Anané Vega, a dj and producer absolutely appreciated since many years on the island: she played several times at Blue Marlin, at Ushuaia Tower and in other prestigious location.

Anané next Friday will play at Teatro posillipo, one of the most important clubs of Southern Italy.

If you are  around Naples, don’t miss this party because of Anané, which is also the wife of the legendary Little Louie Vega, is guarantee of good music!

Ibiza by night meets Dimitri Nakov! The exclusive interview!

Dimitri Nakov (in the picture below) was one of the best surprises last summer in Ibiza..

He played several times at Ushuaia Tower during the show “Never say never” of Sasha..and he was absolutely appreciated..

Ibiza by night met Dimitri to talk about his relationship with the island..and about future projects..

IBN: So, Dimitri, how was your summer in Ibiza?

Dimitri Nakov: “I am very pleased with this summer. It isn’t always easy to have time for oneself in Ibiza and enjoy it for all it has to offer but I managed to be part of a great, and very successful, weekly Sunday night at Ushuaia Tower with Never Say Never, spend time in the studio & go out to hear great music across the island, not forgetting the occasional cheeky after set”.

IBN: Dimitri Nakov and Ibiza, how is the relationship between you and the island? Tell us.. how is your typycal day when you are on the island?

Dimitri Nakov: “A typical depends greatly on which day at which time of year but I would say a perfect day is some beach, friends and great food, a studio session, dinner with my mates and lots of music. I have been coming to Ibiza since 1986 more or less, still very young, and still this summer I stumbled across an amazing restaurant with an amazing sea view that was half empty mid august simply because it is a hidden treasure. Ibiza never ceases to surprise!”.

IBN: Dimitri and Sasha.. tell us something about your professional cooperation….

Dimitri Nakov: “I met Sasha in the mid 1990’s in London. I was fresh out of school and already immersed in music. He took me on as a studio assistant and gave me some warm up sets. In the late 1990’s the Twilo/Sasha&Digweed USA thing meant that we ended up separated until we bump into each other again quite by chance 7 or 8 years later. Since then we started Never Say Never together, were in the studio together, toured together and lots of time in different restaurants together.

If you want me to answer the 3rd question with Sasha I will need some time as he is in London in the studio, I am on tour in Brazil”.

IBN: Let’s talk about your music, which kind do you like to play?

Dimitri Nakov: “A difficult question to answer. It would seem that my job is to do whatever it is I do and let the public and medias categorise and place it according to their judgement or understanding.

I have always loved house and techno, and all music to be honest, so I like to mix it up. I don’t think I follow trends but I do know I like my breakfast, lunch and dinner to be different from each other, I wouldn’t like to limit myself to one style of music just as much I wouldn’t like to each penne pomodoro all day every day. However much I love Italian food!

The short answer, house, tech house, bass and beats and melody. I like vocals but I originally got into electronic music because it was instrumental”.

IBN: You have played in a lot of locations worldwide, which is the coolest place where you made a set?

Dimitri Nakov: “Tough question. Womb in Tokyo is amazing. Warung Brazil is more than amazing. Amnesia Ibiza is incredible. I have never played at DC10 but I have hopes to do so, and I can only imagine it would be in my top 10. Universo Parallelo at the beach in Bahia is also incredible. Palms, a great sound system, 1000 people or more in the sunshine with a pirate ship in the middle of the sand dance floor there a few years back was one of the ‘coolest’. This year I will be playing there along side Jamie Jones and Dixon amongst many others. I have had some of my best sets there in the past”.

IBN: what about your future projects?

Dimitri Nakov: “While doing some gigs with Sasha at the beginning of 2014 I will kick start a new party concept in a new place in Bahia Brazil. More tropical paradise with the Never Say Never concept but this time in Brazil.

I also have some music coming out finally, a collaboration with Sabb and an Ibiza local singer who goes by NASA. Currently working wonders in my sets.. and much more from this project. I will also be releasing a new version of my track with Cari Golden, this time in collaboration with John Monkman. There will be a video to accompany it as well. Very excited about this one too. Then back to Ibiza for more Never Say Never next summer”.
