Pacha New York City announces the closing!

Pacha NYC has announced today its closing.

Pacha Nyc along the years has been one of the most influent clubs of North America, and in January 2016 will be celebrated several closing parties before the end.

Here you have the official announcement:”The most earth-shaking decade in the history of electronic dance music took place on the Pacha dance floor.

For 10 years, it was the home of the New York-style 24-plus-hour marathon; where EDM tested its chops and earned its stripes; where stars were born and fans were converted. It gave legendary promoter Rob Fernandez a room to transform, weekend in and weekend out. It cooled you off with nitrogen and heated you up with shower dancers. It was the only reason you went West of 11th Avenue (unless your car got towed).

This January, Pacha New York – lauded as one of the top nightclubs in the world by DJ Mag magazine, and “Best Superclub” at the Club World Awards for 5 years – is closing its doors for good. But not until after a month of unforgettable, need-to-be-there, best-parties-of-your-life, culminating in a marathon classics set with 46th Street staple, Jonathan Peters.

“The average nightclub lasts 18 months – we lasted 120,” says Pacha New York’s president, Eddie Dean.“It’s been a wild ride that none of us will ever forget. Our final parties will celebrate the different artists, styles, and scenes that have made Pacha great.”

Just how major has Pacha’s run been? The numbers don’t lie:

6 million fans gracing our dance floor for over 12,000 hours. That’s more than 1,500 shows over 500 weeks. We’ve had many marriages, quite a few divorces, and at least 522 babies conceived. Fans have burned close to 10 billion calories over ten years, while our barbacks have ran  nearly 10 thousand miles (burning a million calories), carrying over 2 million bottles of alcohol (enough to fill 2 Olympic sized swimming pools!).

 The Tenth Anniversary

This December, Pacha New York proudly presents The Ten-Year Anniversary: A celebration of everywhere we’ve been, alongside our faithful patrons and dedicated fans of electronic music. The month-long celebration includes amazing line-ups and stellar parties, featuring the likes of Puff Daddy, Carnage, Dirty South, and Markus Schulz

The anniversary month will feature a centerpiece show on Saturday December 12 by none other than Erick Morillo, Pacha’s founding resident DJ and chairman of the board.

New Years Eve

Pacha is proud to mark our decade of NYC dance dominance going back to our roots, capping our run with one final New Year’s Eve party, a 72-hour marathon classics set with West 46th Street veteran, Jonathan Peters.

The Closing Party

As for the closing party..  we’re capping our run with a series of closing parties in January 2016, featuring the who’s who of dance music, from past to present”.

Next Saturday 28th of November, starting at midnight till 6 am, at Sala Taboo (Madrid) will play Lanoire, D.S.E.M., Rafa De Siria (that recently realized a special set for Ibiza by night radio show) and Alex Ferrer.

Breaking news: a few minutes ago Circoloco has announced the line up for NYE 2016 at Dc 10 Ibiza!!

NYE at Dc 10 is the first cult appointment  of the year in Ibiza, and also for the 2016 the line up – that in past had as guests artists as Sven Vath and Carl Cox – will be  amazing!

In the same day will play Richie Hawtin, Andrea Oliva, The Martinez Brothers Tania Vulcano, Adriatique, Sossa, Djebali, Steve Rachmad, D’Julz, Luca Ballerini, Clive Henry,  Nick Curly, Renè, Acid Mondays!

Sankeys Ibiza & Unusual Suspects present: Detroit Love, with Carl Craig, Nicole Moudaber, Just be, Francisco Allendes, Herr, Frank Storm and many more!

Sankeys Ibiza & Unusual Suspects present the second episode  of “Detroit Love”.

After the excellent results of last 11th of November, the Ibiza’s cult party returns in the club of David Vincent with a top line up.

In the same night will play -in the Lab Room- “the master”  Carl Craig, the queen of techno Nicole Moudaber, Francisco Allendes, Frank Storm and Diego Jimenez.

In the basement the line up is composed by Herr, an artist that we really appreciated last summer, our friends Alex Del Vecchio and Luigi Moretti, David valmont and Sam.

In the terrace the guest will be Filipa Lazary and, for the “Afterworks” is scheduled another special guest: Just Be (Bushwacka).

Vintage is back at Pacha Ibiza, with Sebastian Gamboa, Anna Tur, Angel Linde!

Vintage since years is one of the most loved parties on the island: Sebastian Gamboa and his team scored in the last autumn and winter season still brilliant results at Pacha Ibiza, and now are back!

Next Saturday 28th of November Pacha will host the new episode of Vintage, and with Gamboa will play  Anna Tur (Ibiza Global radio), Angel Linde, plus B-Linda at the violin and Mimi Barber at the vocals.

And, don’t forget Sebastian Gamboa will play a Special Birthday set. And
