Ibiza by night presents: Gloria Geseri and Can horse!
Can Horse, in Ibiza, is a new, interesting, project dedicated to the horses but not only to the horses.
It was created by Gloria Geseri, a well known and respected event organizer in Ibiza (she created also the breand Rewind after tea party).
Ibiza by night met Gloria Geseri to talk about Can horse!
IBN: Gloria how did you decide to start this project?
Gloria Geseri: One year ago I adopted the first two horses. They were ex trotter, once used for races..
After six months I came to know from the previous owner that when the racehorses are not useful anymore for the competitions most of the times they are sent to the slaughterhouse.
At that moment I started a research on the situation of the horses in Ibiza.. I always helped dogs and cats, but someone officially taking care of horses and rescuing them still didn’t exist, exept Karen Sailer with Duo Horse.
So I met Karen and we began to cooperate: Campero arrived in february, he was abandoned in a finca in San Rafael; then Allegria, she escaped from the house where she was mistreated and we let her stay with us. At that point with my neighbours we thought that it would have been really great to create an asociacion to protect abandoned and abused horses.
We inaugurated Can Horse in June!
IBN: How it works?
Gloria Geseri: We rescue the horses thanks to the help of the people who informs us about any sort of mistreatment or abuse, we take care of the rehabilitation and when they are ready to be adopted we look for a new house for them.
Normally they stay with us for 4/6 months, during that period people can support and sponsor a horse with 10 euros a month and come and help with the daily activities and training.
The asociation for the members also organizes free workshops to let everybody approach to this world of the horses. Everybody can become a member with just 20 euros per year.
IBN: you and your horses work also with kids with health problems?
Gloria Geseri: It’s our plan to do it, but at the moment we are still looking for valuable therapists to cooperate with us, being professional is very important in therapies.
IBN: which are your future projects?
Gloria Geseri:We already have a group of horses for the rides who come from the rehabilitation and are used only for that.Every Sunday it’s family day, parents can come with children and with a donation they can have a ride on our horsesWe are looking for more people to get involved in the project, more volunteers and donations are welcome.

Today…. Nassau closing party!
Today will be celebrated, starting at 1.00 p.m. until 2 a.m., the closing party of Nassau beach club, in Playa d’en Bossa.
The Nassau beach club, that’s since many years one of the most elegant beach club of Ibiza (and since last September became member of “The world’s finest clubs”), will close with a great party!
In concolle will play two excellent Djs: Dazzla Ding, the Australian dj and producer that, after a succedsful summer at Nassau and at at Pacha, already played for winter season at Pacha,plus Andy Piper!

Today it’s the day!
At Pacha Ibiza returns the successful show “Ibiza vice” with the first episode of the new saga!
The party is organized by Fernando Pablo Link, and tonight will play Alex Kennon, Sarah Main and Graham Sahara, this one as Pacha dj resident!
During the night will be presented also a fashion show by Marisa Cela.

Ibiza by night meets Viktor Buda, music journalist and editor with more than 10 years of experience for magazine like Flash, Dj mag, Dub Ibiza and many others
Viktor (in the picture below) is an editor and one of the founder of “Ibiza life”, a magazine in English and Russian dedicated to Ibiza.
IBN: Ibiza life is a magazine in English and Russian dedicate to Ibiza…Explain to us the project of your review…
Viktor :“From just an idea a year ago, it’s been a wild journey to see the
first magazine done this season. I never imagined we would have this
first issue ready by now because we started from zero. Our goal was to
create a bilingual magazine, a new media way which can be interesting
also for Russians more than any other magazines in Ibiza, however big
or glam it looks. I would like to thank all my friends and everyone
else who has supported our work over the last year. Action is the key
to change!”
IBN: Russia and Ibiza.. how is the relationship and why Russians love the magic island?
Viktor: “I am convinced that the Russians love the island as well as others,
nationality is irrelevant here. Just in recent years for the Russians
Ibiza has become more accessible. And as we know Ibiza is not just a
island. Everyone who leave will be changed forever”.
IBN: Why Ibiza Life?
Viktor: “We have chosen a log under certain things: the quality in the environment in which we live. It seems to me that it’s happened. Any person today can read many glossy magazines.
But the kind of genre you as the reader
does not lead anywhere, it does not extend the limits of human
thought, and does not reflect on the value of things. We focused on
the content and texts. Of course, the magazine language probably is
far from standardized texts and in any form. Each of us has its own
language in which we communicate. The Ibiza Life is ours. However,
whatever language we speak, we need to maintain and expand it. DJs
also has its own language. And so is the music. And be able to speak
the beautiful language. In general, it is necessary to rejoice. We
need to try to be happy. The magazine will be about how to feel happy!”.
IBN : Do you think that the presence of Russian community will
increase next years and if yes why?
Viktor:” There is not any particular reasons why the Russian tourists growth is so evident in Ibiza over the last two years. In the past, the Russians
getting to Ibiza was a mystery to all. Now the visa regime between
Spain and Russia had become friendly. Schengen area has played a big
role as well. Tourism departments facts proves, The number of Russians
who visited Ibiza during the last year has increased by double digits.
Infrastructure between Russia and Ibiza has improved. Today’s
Zeitgeist..”.
IBN:Summer 2013.. your opinion and balance about Ibiza
Viktor:“We know Ibiza became one of the most fashionable destinations over the
last years. In the sense of changes a progress driven by the power of
money has turned into a monstrosity. Here I can quote one of our
magazines heros – Today all of this resembles an amusement park. But
on the whole thing I am looking very philosophical. Musically very
delighted that alongside huge mainstream popularity, while the island
of progressing in the opposite musical front. It can hardly be
described as underground direction but see Music On, Enter or
Circoloco measures the popularity of the island was particularly
pleasing to the general musical context. Тendences become common to
all”.
IBN: Your future projects
Viktor: “Releasing magazine in Ibiza is a big acknowledge. It Takes time and
patienc . For the Ibiza I’m a little superstitious. Time will show “.

Next Friday, Pacha Ibiza.. Ibiza vice is back!
Ibiza vice.. one of the most successful show of last winter, is back!
But for autumn 2013 there is a new, important location: the Pacha!
Starting from next friday, Ibiza Vice will be back with three appointments, 25th of October, 8th of November and 13th of December!
Fernando Pablo Link,promoter of the event (in the picture below), says:”After the great success of Ibiza vice last season, the show returns in the most famous location of ibiza: the pacha. I organized before 3 parties, next friday, the 8th of November and the 13th of December. The magic formula is still the same: two dj’s and a lot of good music. Our resident will be Alex Kennon for the second year and the show will have a super guest each party, the econd edition will be very innovative! “.
And one of the surprises will be represented from a new fashion dance show, the go go’s girls of Pacha will dance dressed from the most famous boutiques of the island.
Fernando Pablo Link about this point says:”The party will include also a fashion part, because of the gogo dancers of pacha will be dressed by the best boutiques of Ibiza.. we start this week with Marisa Cela“.
The line up of the first night will include Alex Kennon,an appreciated dj and producer that was already resident of Ibiza Vice last winter and Sarah Main, appreciated dj resident of Ushuaia Ibiza!
The line up is completed by Graham Sahara, dj resident of Pacha.

Ibiza by night meets Nathan Barato!
Nathan Barato (in the picture below) has been one Dj absolutely appreciated during Summer 2013 in ibiza.
He has played many times at Music on, the show of Marco Carola, and his set, sometimes b2b with Leon, were excellent!
For the past 15 years, Nathan has been a favourite in the Toronto
scene.
He began his career rolling with legends like Peter and Tyrone.
In the early years, Nathan’s innate ability to win the crowd
over with his groove scored him gigs at legendary
Toronto nightclubs such as Industry or Mad Bar.
His talent and dedication eventually progressed him into
residencies at The Guvernment, Stereo Nightclub,
and Footwork, as well as his own night, “Weird Science”
at the longstanding and legendary Comfort Zone.
Throughout his career, Nathan has played in cities
throughout North America and Europe, but considers
Toronto his home base.
Nathan has been working hard in the studio and has
completed many recent productions as well as
upcoming releases on labels such as Desolat, Rekids,
Saved, Suara, KD Music!

IBN:So Nathan, how was your summer in Ibiza?
Nathan: Summer in Ibiza was amazing man…It was life changing and eye opening…I feel very lucky that I was able to have this experience.
IBN: Nathan Barato and Music on: how has started your friendship with Marco Carola and the cooperation with his show?
Nathan: Well I had played with Marco on a few occasions in Toronto and he has always been very supportive of my work and my label, Roots And Wings Music. He is a great guy…very inspirational..I am very happy and lucky to be around such a deeply rooted crew.
IBN: You play in Europe and in north america..which are the main differences when you work in Europe and in Canada?
Nathan: The main difference I’ve noticed is, it seems that the younger generation in Europe have a deeper understanding of dance music.
IBN Let’s talk about Nathan barato.. which are your future projects for next months?
Nathan: Ah man coming up for me I have some dates on the road…South America tour, USA tour….im coming back to Italy for a nice tour there also and planning my first trip to London UK at The Egg..I cant wait!
IBN: Which is your favourite club in the world?
Nathan: Its very hard for me to answer that..especially after being in Ibiza for the summer but I think Stereo in Montreal is number 1 for me. The sound, the size and the vibe are perfect for me.
IBN: And which is your best set in last years?
Nathan: Hah! I am not one to say whether my sets are best or not…after such an amazing year its hard to pick any moment that was greater than any other one…….but I am still thinking about my gig at Footwork in Toronto at the end of August, directly after my return from European summer when I played the beginning of the night to the end of the night…It was something I’ll never forget.
IBN what about your musical production.. are you preparing something new?
Yes, now that I am back in Toronto, I am working very hard in the studio…..working to finish EP’s for Desolat, Mood, Avotre, D-Floor and a single for Mar-T’s label, WOW Recordings…I also have something that Im working on which is quite different for me and a secret I will keep to myself until the time is right haha. Today I just finished a collaboration with one of my favourite artist’s since I began…Green Velvet…it makes me very happy to have had the chance to work with him…It was a very inspiring experience
